Venues
Why venues need a weekly poster plan, and how to start
Venues that fill their nights usually do one thing well: they show up on people's phones in the same way every week. That takes a plan, not a burst of effort once a month.
Start with a venue look
A venue look is a set of colours, fonts and templates that make every poster feel like yours. People should know it is your event before they read the name.
Keep a weekly rhythm
- Recurring nights (quiz night, open mic, ladies' night) use the same template each week with the new date and details.
- One-off nights (a big match, a special guest) get their own poster and a few stories.
- Post at the same time so people expect it.
Plan one month at a time
Write down every event for the month first, then make all the posters in one batch. It is quicker and cheaper than designing one at a time.
A note on alcohol
Rules on advertising alcohol in India are strict. We design around the event, the food and the atmosphere, and the venue approves every post before it goes out.
Our monthly event poster plans cover a venue look and a set number of posters each month. We hand over the files and you post them.
