Expo stalls
How much does an expo stall design cost in Bengaluru?
If you are exhibiting at a trade show, the first question is usually "how much will the stall cost?" The honest answer is that it is three separate costs. Knowing them stops surprises later.
The three costs of a stall
- Design. The layout, the back wall, the name board above the stall (called the fascia), standees, counter and posters.
- Printing and building. Printing the graphics and making the structure. This is charged by the vendor who does the work.
- Installation. Fitting everything on the build-up day, the day before the show opens.
Many designers quote only the first one. You then meet the other two later, when the bills arrive. We agree all three with you before we start.
Why we price design by stall size
A bigger stall needs more walls and more graphics, so it takes more design hours. We use three sizes, and the price covers everything on the stall.
| Stall size | Design, from (estimate) |
|---|---|
| Small, up to 9 sq m | ₹42,000 to ₹50,000 |
| Medium, 10 to 18 sq m | ₹67,000 to ₹80,000 |
| Large, 19 to 36 sq m | ₹1,02,000 to ₹1,35,000 |
The lower figure is for food and drink brands, the higher for industrial and engineering companies, who usually need more technical graphics and a screen loop. These are our starting estimates for the design fee only. Printing and installation are extra.
How to save money on your next show
- Reuse your design. If you exhibit again with the same stall, a repeat-show price is lower, because the design already exists.
- Book early. We need about 3 weeks for a small or medium stall and 6 for a large one. Rushed work costs 50% more.
- Send your specs and text early. Waiting for content is the most common reason for delays.
