Terms and Conditions
These are the plain-words rules for working with us and for using ducksoup.in. When we send you a quote or kit sheet, the details there (what is included, the price and the dates) sit on top of these terms. Questions? Write to support@ducksoup.in.
Who we are
Ducksoup Creatives and Events, Bengaluru, India (GST number 29KFUPS4019Q1Z1). "We" means this business. "You" means the person or company we work for.
Prices and quotes
- We agree the price with you before work starts. It is written in the quote.
- Prices on this website are starting estimates. Your quote is the final price.
- Printing, making and fitting are quoted per job and added to your quote. We handle them as part of our own production.
- If you need work in under 48 hours, we add 50% to the design price.
- Prices are in Indian rupees. GST is added where it applies.
Payment
- We start work after you pay an advance of 50%. For some jobs we may agree a smaller advance, but never less than 20%.
- The balance is due before anything goes to print.
Changes to the design
- Every item includes 2 rounds of changes from you.
- An extra round costs 20% of the hours for that item, with a minimum of ₹500.
- We do not print or finish anything until you approve the final files in writing. An email or WhatsApp message is fine.
- Once you approve, mistakes in text, spelling or sizes that were in your approved files are yours to pay for. Please check carefully.
What you give us
You are responsible for the text, logos, photos and details you send us. Please make sure you have the right to use them. We write nothing for you unless it is in the quote. If you are late sending what we need, the dates move too.
Who owns the final design
- Until you have paid in full, the files stay ours.
- Once you have paid in full, you own the final approved artwork. You get print-ready and web files.
- Editable source files (such as .ai or .psd) are given on request, and may cost extra.
- Our own tools, fonts and templates stay ours, and stock or licensed items stay with their owners. We tell you if something has a licence limit.
Showing your work
We may show the finished work we did for you on our website, social media and presentations. If you do not want that, tell us in writing and we will take it down. We never show anything confidential or not yet released.
If you cancel
- Once work has started, the advance is not refundable. It covers the design work done so far.
- If we have not yet spent money on printing or making, we refund it.
- Money we have already paid to printers or makers for your job is kept.
- If we have done more design work than the advance covers, we bill the rest at the agreed rate.
Using this website
Please use ducksoup.in fairly. Don't try to break it or get into areas that are not yours, such as the admin area or someone else's client portal. We try to keep information correct, but we may change pages, prices and services at any time.
Your details
Our Privacy Policy explains what personal details we collect and how we treat them.
Law
These terms follow Indian law. If we cannot settle a disagreement by talking, the courts in Bengaluru will deal with it.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. A change does not affect a quote you have already accepted.
